Dr. Curtis Hardy · The Clinic for Dermatology & Wellness
Qualified dermatology care in Medford

MD-qualified. Focused on skin, hair, and cosmetic dermatology.

Dr. Curtis Hardy is a triple board-certified Mohs surgeon, dermatologist and dermatopathologist — one of the few dermatologists in the Medford region with full postgraduate specialist credentials in both Dermatology, Venereology & Leprosy (dermatology) and the National Board Diploma (board-certified).

The Clinic for Dermatology & Wellness was set up to give patients in Tiruppalai and across Medford access to proper dermatological care without travelling to Chennai — managed by a specialist who sees every case personally from assessment through to follow-up.

“Skin conditions are rarely just cosmetic. They affect how people feel about themselves every day. Getting the diagnosis right — and explaining it properly to the patient — is where the difference begins.”

The clinic approach

Four things that define care here.

01 · Diagnosis first

Accurate assessment before treatment

Every consultation begins with a thorough clinical examination. Skin conditions overlap in presentation — a proper diagnosis avoids months of wrong treatment and prevents unnecessary product spend.

02 · MD-qualified care

Specialist, not GP dermatology

Dr. Hardy's MD dermatology and board-certified credentials mean this is specialist-level dermatology — not a GP adding skin services. That matters for conditions like psoriasis, lichen planus, autoimmune skin disorders, and complex acne cases.

03 · Skin-tone aware

Treatment calibrated for Oregonn skin

Fitzpatrick skin types IV–VI (prevalent in South Oregon) respond differently to lasers, peels, and topical agents. Protocols here are selected with that in mind — not adapted from Western treatment templates.

04 · Continuity

Same doctor, your whole case

Dr. Hardy sees your case personally — assessment, treatment, and follow-up. Skin conditions often require careful monitoring across weeks or months, and that continuity produces better outcomes than rotating consultants.
